Frequently Asked Questions

Osteopathy is an American manual therapy that has long been used to restore form and function in humans. It is based on the tenets that the body can self-heal and self-regulate, and that, as long as the anatomy is moving correctly, the body will take care of itself.

Osteopathy is meant to be complementary to conventional veterinary medicine and other modalities.

Treatment is gentle and effective and is well tolerated by many species. Animals respond quickly to this form of manual therapy and do not need frequent treatment.

Pricing is dependent on the species of animal, the location, and the number of animals to be treated.

Pricing starts at $80 (including HST) for office appointments. Please contact us for more specific pricing for home or barn visits.

Armstrong Veterinary Osteopathy provides ONLY osteopathic manual therapy. We DO NOT provide routine veterinary care (vaccines, emergency services, etc.).

Please contact your regular veterinarian for your regular health care and diagnostic needs. Osteopathy is a complement to (not a replacement for) regular veterinary care.
